Daw Mya Kyi, a grandmother from Myanmar, is four years older than the world’s oldest grandmother

The world’s oldest living person is Besse Cooper, 116 years and 51 days old, born on August 26, 1896.

Daw Mya Kyi, a 120-year-old Burmese woman, is about four years older than her oldest grandmother.

Daw Mya Kyi is now living in a tent in the monastery compound in Pauk Chaingone village, Amarapura Township, and will turn 120 this month.

Grandmother Daw Mya Kyi is still in good health and is a vegetarian. In an interview with the Myanmar Enlightenment newspaper, she said that her favorite food was sesame pickles.

Mya Kyi is being cared for by the village abbot, U Aw Ba Tha, and Dr Zaw Tun is providing medical care.

Online users in Myanmar are reportedly trying to get Guinness listed as a Guinness World Record holder.
